Terrains

Terrain Videos:

Terrain-01.mpg – Download a 3d Terrain animation of a flyby over some simple mountains & seas.

Terrain-02.mpg – Download a 3d Terrain flyby animation of a plateau with some good plasma texture mapping. The texture itself moves over the mountains as the flyby animation goes on, and is kind of cool to look at! The texture was created in GIMP in Linux. Most of the frames (esp. towards the end of the animation) haven’t been anti-aliased properly.

Art

Miscellaneous artwork from the past.

Quantum

This image is my dedication to Quantum physics and to my Physics professor Dr. Madhurima who really stirred up my love towards physics.

The image was created by assuming transverse electric and magnetic fields, with poles and opposite charges at the ends. The magnetic plane was then rotated through an angle of 90 degrees to overlap with the electric fields. An intensity sampling was then done, and based on dot products of the net intensity (remember, the magnetic field is now no more transverse, it is now overlapping) a colorscale was taken and drawn. This image is not what I wanted it to be, but since I was too lazy to proceed, I stopped at this.

Klingon Warp

This was an image that I had created a long time ago. It was inspired by the Klingons in Star Trek. And this is supposed to be a digital render of a Klingon, I just thought the color change added attitude. No, you’re not supposed to be impressed with it, this is just something I’d done for myself, a long time ago.

Animated Mountain and Sky

A color-changing animation done out of an image created in Bryce3d.
